OGDEN - Vance Lee Akiyama, 23, died Saturday, December 18, 2004 in Salt Lake City, of injuries in an automobile accident.

He was born April 22, 1981 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Vance lived most of his life in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii and is a 1999 graduate from Kauai High School. He relocated to Ogden in 2001 to attend Weber State University.
