Richard "Dick" Brydson Passes Away.

 

Richard "Dick" Brydson 1935 ~ 2005 Richard O. Brydson age 69, passed away April 8, 2005 after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born October 14, 1935 in Salt Lake City to Frank B. and Myrtle Sleater Brydson. After graduating from West High School in 1953 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Married Norma Hamilton in 1958, later divorced. He then married Judy Booth Cannon March 25, 1985. Dick was a long time secretary of several bowling leagues. He was an avid golfer and loved softball. He and his wife Judy enjoyed many trips to Nevada to golf and gamble. Survived by his wife Judy, children: Curtis (Jenny) Brydson, Casey (Jena) Brydson; step-children: Chris (Joe) Godfrey, Todd Jardine, Sean (Terri) Jardine; brothers: Bob (Caroline) Brydson, John (Deann) Scott, Gene Scott, Steve (Jenny) Scott, sister Diane (Stan) Staten, and 13 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Cary Brydson and brother Joe Brydson. We will miss Dick's sense of humor, sunny outlook on life, and contagious smile. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2005, 2 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple where friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 North Halsted Street Suite 201 Chicago, Illinois 60622.
